So as some of you may know, Irma is about to head right up the spine of Florida. Our area is projected to have rough weather Sunday and Monday. How rough is still to be determined and of course that means it's also unknown whether we'll have power or not.

So Rob and I may not be able to be online Sunday night.

We're fine and will be fine. Alachua County is one of the safest places to be for a tropical event because we are inland. We are as prepared as we can be and will have phone since we have data, not just wi-fi.
Stay hunkered down and strong. Oh, remember to duck for Jose.
Stay safe!

So the good news is we have power right now. We've lost it twice today - once this morning and once during what would have been raid time.

We're only just now starting to get the unpleasantness and that's only going to be increasing as we head into the night and morning. Hopefully by the time it heads up to mess with Tenedia, it won't be a hurricane anymore. I'm really hoping it won't be a hurricane by the time it reaches us, but that's probably really wishful thinking.
